MiG A in Manila 3: Araneta Surprises

PART I
15 is a very lucky number for me! I got to meet MiG last November 15, 2005 and got my first MiGgy kiss August 15 of this year! (Wwaaahhhh!!!)
I was the last one to arrive at the concert venue (as always hehe). We were three pairs…me and Cecile (we were both wearing red and had our first MiG picture taken together), Raya and Sheila (our MTV Hanging Out girls both wearing black) and sisters Aleck and Dette (both wearing their Human Time Out shirts). Take note, the shirt colors are all coincidental! *wink*
We were at the Upper Box B area fronting the stage. We were a bit far from the stage but ‘twas ok. I really have to give credit to my very observant co-MiG ‘stalkers’! They saw Simmy with Ms. Suz when they came in. She looked gorgeous! They both looked gorgeous! If my eyes saw it right, Simmy was wearing a black and white striped off-shoulder blouse and red mini-skirt I think. They sat on the third row (not so sure) on the left side of the stage.
As Dette and Sheila have mentioned, the band The Dawn performed first. They sang 4 songs, 3 of which are Tagalog songs. The fourth one was one of their hit songs, “Envelope Ideas.” After The Dawn, we knew it was MiG’s turn and so we went a bit crazy…well, REALLY WILD CRAZY! We were shouting our lungs off! Not just us but the whole coliseum as well! His first song was “Wrapped Around Your Finger.” OMG! MiG is such an amazing performer! As he sang the lines, “I’ll be wrapped around your finger”, he was circling his finger in the air…(He looked really sexy!). He even played the piano at the last part of the song! I think it was during this song that the microphone at the piano was not working (Grrrrr….) But you know MiG, he’s such a great performer, no amount of ‘technical difficulties’ could stop him! *clap* MiG was in very high energy! Everyone was on their feet the minute he performed! The next song that he sang was “All Right Now”…wow! We were all feeling more than alright!!! The adlib part came before his third song which was BILYW. I was not really listening properly. Raya told me, MiG said that he needed some “tubig” which is Tagalog for water. Wow! MiG is learning Tagalog already! Woo hoo! He cracked jokes about who in the audience were related to him and Sheila and Cecile raised their hands! Hehehe…He even said that his Yaya was in the audience! You can really feel that he really loves his Yaya! (MiG is such a lovable guy! Love him!) He then sang BILYW, everyone was screaming! He was so well received, that when he asked us to stomp our feet and clap when he sang WWRY, the whole place really rocked! Everyone was on their feet clapping and stomping! Us, six girls, were having a hard time clapping coz we all had stuff in our hands, our phones, cameras and the WE Heart MiG poster! (courtesy of Cecile!) I’m not sure when he got down from the stage to get near the audience but when he jumped back up onstage, us naughty girls saw something! Wahaha! I’ll leave it to your imagination! *wink*
For his last song, he sang Pride (In the Name of Love) with Jet Pangan of The Dawn! Wwwwaahhh!!! The crowd sang through some lines of BILYW, WWRY and Pride (In the Name of Love)! Every performance was electrifying!!! MiG is THE BEST!!!!! I was really sad when he was saying goodbye already but lo and behold, HE TOOK OF HIS SHIRT!!!! OMGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!! Ok, pandemonium people!!!! We all went crazy!!!!!!! He threw his shirt over at Simmy’s direction…I think Simmy was standing up and if I saw it right, she was reaching for the shirt! But she didn’t get it though 
….It fell short…someone nearer the stage got it….I don’t know what happened with the shirt later on…maybe they gave it back to MiG but if not, my, the one who got it is one very lucky person!!!

We left when the lights were off already…They were playing a song, I don’t know which INXS song but I know it was JD’s voice I was hearing but there’s no sign of the band onstage yet…
PART II
Re-entry was not allowed in Araneta so we had to make sure that MiG will not be performing anymore. We went to the door near the backstage and as Sheila has mentioned, she saw MiG’s handler at the Mall of Asia there (She was more excited to see him than JD!) and asked the guard to ask him if MiG would still be performing and we were told no. Cecile was asking the guard (who was patient and kind with us) if MiG is still there or if he left already. Alex already told Aleck that we could meet Ms. Suz at the South Gate but we did not know where that was! Of course we asked for directions and also asked where the nearest flower shop is! We bought two bouquet of flowers, one for MiG and one for Simmy. (Special mention to Pokwang Flower Shop!) 
I didn’t really feel nervous as we were making our way to the South Gate because I know that we will be meeting with Ms. Suz only. But OMG! MIG WAS WITH HER!!!! You can only imagine the shock on our faces!!! We could not believe our eyes!!!!! I think I was the last to see MiG because I was wondering why we were all backing out, stepping back. I was thinking, “hey girls, it’s only Ms. Suz, no need to be scared” but they were all sort of smiling and stifling their screams, and when I saw MiG…wwaaahhh!!! I was pounding on my chest because for one minute there I could not breathe! I kept whispering, “Diyos ko, Diyos ko!” which translates to “Oh my God, oh my God!” I think MiG was really surprised with our reaction! He was coming towards us as we were stepping back, it must really have looked funny! His expression was more like, “oh why that face? Don’t be scared, I don’t bite! Come here…” Hahaha…I’m really embarrassed by my reaction hehehe…MiG was happy to see Aleck’s and Dette’s Time Out Shirts! He told Ms. Suz that she still owes him one hehe…We then huddled around him, he was smiling and looking at us one by one and he said, “I see you guys all the time, thank you!” OMG! I’m back in MiGgy cloud 9 and it feels so good!!!!! All’s a blur now…Ms. Suzette and Mr. Billy (Ms. Suzette’s brother) took pictures of us (Thank you po!) I took MiG’s picture with Aleck, Raya and Dudette with my camphone…my hand was trembling and I could not really concentrate because MiG was looking at me, oh correction, at my camera! Hahaha…I got conscious for a minute there! LOL…Cecile and Sheila had their very own sweet MiGgy moments too when MiG himself shot their picture together! OMG!!!!
We gave him the flowers and said that it was for him and Simmy and he was really touched that we got one for Simmy as well…He told us we were all really sweet! (Eeeeeee!!!) We showed him our MAP dogtags…He said, Wow! and Aleck gave him hers! He said, “Thank you! Are you sure? Thanks!”
Here comes one of the highlights of that night…MiG KISSED US ONE BY ONE!!! OMG! I got my MiGgy kiss at last!!!!!

*faints*It was a long goodbye (We didn’t want to part with him!) but we had too of course. MiG thanked us and asked us to go back and enjoy the show. We just smiled 
, still mesmerized by the kiss and miG! (I don’t have to tell you that MiG is the ONLY reason we watched the concert right? *wink*)

MiG was shouting, “My Yaya!” They hugged and kissed, it was such a sweet moment! Another guy just popped out of nowhere and had his shirt signed by MiG and also his ticket I think. Sheila and Dudette had their dog tags signed too. Dudette gave MiG one last hug and kiss (aaahhh!!! Dudette, you are one very luck girl! Mwah!) Before they went back inside, MiG held the flowers and said, “Salamat, maraming salamat!” We thanked him too of course and said that we love him!
The moment the gate was closed, the six of us held hands, huddled and SCREAMED! We looked like that scene in Notting Hill!!!!
I called Bes Jane and I was almost in tears! (Thanks Bes, love ya!) I was super super happy! We were all floating in MiGgy cloud 9! Then Raya remembered that MiG was carrying a can of San MiG light. She SPRINTED back to get it!!! Wwwaahhhh!!!! (Go Raya!!!)
I hope I’ve not left anything out…It was one of the most memorable nights of my life! Thank you for bearing with me once more!

And of course, maraming salamat to my co-MiG stalkers, Cecile, Aleck, Dudette, Raya and Sheila! We did it girls!
